James Koichi Ichinose

James Koichi Ichinose was the second eldest child and oldest son of Yoshigoro and Tome.

He was born in Moiliili Honolulu on 4/22/1901 and his life history is somewhat vague.

At this time all l know are from fragments of information I have found:

   1)  In 1910 he was 9 years old living with his parents in Honolulu.

   2) from 1913 to 1916 he was attending elementary school at Kaahumanu in Moiliili Honolulu.

   3) In 1918 he was a clerk for the Von-Hamm Young Co (which looks like a car/tire company) in Honolulu

   4) In April of 1919 he signed on to a ship named the SS Sachem as a mess attendant

   5) In 1930 He was living in Ocean Park California and working as an insurance salesman

   6) In 1942 He was living in Santa Monica CA

   7) In 1947 There seems to be several Ads in the paper which listed a James Ichinose as the contact for Ichinose Piano and Appliances IN Hawaii. Not sure if this is the same person but have found no other James Ichinose anywhere else in Hawaii.

   8) On a Plane Manifest dated 1/28/1948 going from Honolulu to Los Angeles there are 5 people listed. James Koichi Ichinose, Jacqueline, his wife (born in Medicine Lodge KS on 10/22/21), Daughter Aloma 5 years old born in  Denver, Daughter Tanya 3  years old born in Denver and Michael 1-/2 years old born in Los Angeles.

   9) Divorce statement dated 8/15/1949 between James and Jaqueline.

  10) 1950 Voter registration for James Koichi in Los Angeles 

  11)  Death Notice dated 12/04/1993 for James Koichi in Los Angeles.

It should be noted that even though not much is known of Koichi, his wife and 2 of his children, Daughter Aloma had quite the life and I have found  interesting stories and gathered much info on her path which you will be able to see in the future when I download it. 

It should also be noted that I do not yet have proof that the three children are actually Koichi's children although they probably are.
